Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

Seeking an electrical apprentice to assist with installation of a full building electrical system. Strong work ethic and good attendance are a must. The chosen applicant will be trained in electrical installation, construction site safety, Hand and power tools, and teamwork. A full time position may be offered after completion of the project for the right applicant based on work ethic and attendance.

Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing new electrical
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation processes.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working with high voltage or low voltage systems.

Skills

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and teamwork.
• Basic understanding of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in a fast-paced environment. This temporary paid apprenticeship provides a comprehensive pathway into the electrical trade, equipping you with valuable industry experience while supporting your professional growth.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
