Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of electrical components.
• Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Conduct basic testing with tools like ohmmeters to verify circuit continuity and resistance levels.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to construction site protocols.
• Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure installation.

Skills

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards.
