Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to perform wiring tasks accurately.
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures and NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code 70) standards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems according to NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters safely and effectively.
