Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

SineWave Services is seeking a hardworking Electrical Apprentice to assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This position involves frequent travel throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding areas and offers excellent opportunities for hands-on training and career advancement.

Duties

• Assist licensed electricians in installation of conduit, cable tray, wire, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and component assembly tasks.
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) compliance and low/high voltage safety standards.
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and verify system integrity.
• Support the setup of low voltage systems, including communication lines and control wiring.
• Travel to customer job sites as required

Experience

• Current Texas Electrical Apprentice License (required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• OSHA 10 construction certification (preferred)
• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic understanding of electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70 compliance guidelines.
