Electrician Apprentice Commercial

Boone Electric is currently hiring for a commercial Apprentice Electrician. We are looking for individuals who possess a solid work ethic, pride in workmanship, and strong leadership skills.

Position Requirements

*Experience with hand and power tools and previous experience as an electrical trainee preferred.

*Ability to meet the basic requirements to become a registered apprenticeship and complete classroom training. (Must have a high school diploma/equivalent and C or better in one year of Algebra)

*Must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check. A background check is required after a conditional offer, per WA's Fair Chance Act (RCW 49.94.010) — guide: https://www.atg.wa.gov/fair-chance-act.

*Ability to perform the essential physical functions with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Lift 50 lbs from ground and pull 50 lbs of force.
• Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling.
• Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lb tool belt.
• Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.
• Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, etc., confined spaces, or high noise levels.
