Solar Installer Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar & Battery Installer Electrician to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting photovoltaic (solar) systems on residential, commercial, and onshore renewable energy sites. Your expertise in electrical systems, safety procedures, and construction will ensure the successful deployment of clean energy solutions. Duties

• Install photovoltaic solar systems, including mounting panels, wiring, and fixture installation on rooftops and ground-mounted sites
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise system setup
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Follow electrical safety procedures in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards during all phases of installation and maintenance
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and forklifts safely to complete construction tasks on various sites
• Perform roofing work related to solar panel mounting and ensure proper sealing and waterproofing
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, including plumbing integration when necessary

Skills

• Extensive experience working as a commercial electrician with a focus on photovoltaic system installation
• Strong knowledge of electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and blueprint reading skills
• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing repairs efficiently
• Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems in outdoor environments
