Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution. Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper wiring. Follow electrical safety procedures diligently, including NFPA 70 compliance (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety), to maintain a safe work environment. Support the setup and disassembly of construction sites, including framing carpentry tasks when needed. Participate in low voltage wiring projects and assist with high voltage system installations under supervision. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection logs and schematic notes.

Requirements

Must have some experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Strong commitment to following electrical safety procedures and protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; eager to learn from experienced professionals.
