Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites and facilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot circuits and ensure proper wiring.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) compliance, to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Participate in construction activities such as frame carpentry when needed for electrical installations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic updates.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures.
