Low Voltage Technician

Wallace William is seeking a skilled low voltage technicians for a large, structured cabling project in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a strong structured cabling background working in large commercial environments.

Cable Technician Responsibilities

• Pull, test, and terminate CAT 5, CAT 6, and fiber optic cable in a new construction commercial environment
• Terminate patch panels and phone jacks and)
• Dress in cable and Installation of support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
• Rack and stack server equipment, closet work.
• Install and bend conduit
• Run and test fiber
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Qualified technicians are required to have their OSHA 30, SST, full PPE and telecom hand tools required.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
