Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for running, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling in a commercial environment. Shift

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Overtime: Potential overtime opportunities available after the first two weeks of employment.

Duties

• Pull, route, and secure low voltage cabling in commercial facilities.
• Terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and other low voltage cables according to project specifications.
• Install and dress cables along cable trays, J-hooks, and designated pathways.
• Label, organize, and maintain cable infrastructure to ensure clean and professional installations.
• Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of installed cabling systems.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.
• Assist with installation of telecommunications, data, and network infrastructure equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all job site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members regarding project progress.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Requirements

• OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
• Lift Certification (Required)
• Previous experience running and terminating low voltage cabling in commercial environments preferred.
• Familiarity with structured cabling systems, including Cat5e and Cat6 cabling.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment safely and effectively.
