Low Voltage Technician

Dallas-based smart home and AV company looking for a tech to help with installs across the metroplex — homes, high-rises, offices, and storefronts. Clean work, happy clients!

*MUST be able to pass CRIMINAL background and DRUG TEST* (non-negotiable)

This is a part-time 1099 gig — best for someone with a flexible schedule who can occasionally take a full day on a job here and there. Not steady 40-hour work. You bring your own tools and transportation.

Pay

$30/hr, plus travel time paid one way from where you live.

What you'll do

• Mount TVs of all sizes on any surface, with clean cable concealment
• Install home audio, surround sound, and home theaters
• Run and terminate low voltage — Cat6, speaker wire
• Set up networking, cameras, video doorbells, and smart locks
• Install smart home gear — thermostats, lighting, voice control
• Light commercial AV — conference rooms, displays, storefront audio

What we want

• Real hands-on AV, smart home, or low voltage experience
• Your own tools and reliable transportation
• Comfortable on a ladder and in tight spots
• Show up on time and don't ghost on a job
• Bonus: Sonos, Lutron, RTI, cameras, or structured wiring experience
