Electrician

Overview

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues effectively.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all work adheres to NEC standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during renovation or new construction projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for each project.
• Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
• Assist with schematic reading and framing carpentry as needed for complex installations or repairs.
• Support handyman tasks related to electrical troubleshooting or minor repairs on construction sites.

Requirements
