Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues effectively.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all work adheres to NEC standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during renovation or new construction projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for each project.
• Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
• Assist with schematic reading and framing carpentry as needed for complex installations or repairs.
• Support handyman tasks related to electrical troubleshooting or minor repairs on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of NEC regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
• Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate ohmmeters and other diagnostic testing equipment confidently.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprint reading, frame carpentry, and general handyman skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.
• Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in industrial or commercial electrical work are a plus.
