Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to run wiring, install fixtures, and set up electrical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Conduct basic testing using tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support framing carpentry tasks when necessary to facilitate electrical installations.

Experience

• Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites or in related fields such as frame carpentry or general construction is a plus.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, NEC standards, high voltage safety protocols, and basic electrical troubleshooting techniques.
