Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution
• Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters to identify electrical issues
• Follow all safety procedures related to low voltage and high voltage electrical work in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Support the setup of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication lines
• Participate in construction activities including frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations

Skills

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
• Experience with electrical testing devices like ohmmeters and multimeters
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and working at heights or confined spaces
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
