Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to perform wiring tasks safely and accurately.
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) compliance and high-voltage safety protocols.
• Support the installation of low voltage systems and ensure proper wiring according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to construction site safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring quality workmanship.

Experience

• Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Familiarity with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters is advantageous.
