Commercial Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team and drive excellence in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across a variety of commercial construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse renovation, new construction, and electrical systems within commercial environments. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be instrumental in ensuring electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction sites, including low voltage and high voltage wiring.
• Bend and install EMT conduit overhead and PVC conduit underground or under slab.
• Pull wire and terminate conductors for HVAC equipment, devices, lighting, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper system operation.
• Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure all wiring and installations meet safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams and general contractors, to coordinate installation schedules and project milestones.
• Ensure all work is completed safely by adhering to OSHA guidelines and utilizing proper safety equipment at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
