Duties

• Support licensed electricians by preparing work areas, handling hand tools, and operating power tools to facilitate electrical installations.
• Assist with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup.
• Help install and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in residential buildings following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Follow electrical safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and verify circuit integrity.
• Aid in the installation of electrical components according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Support construction site activities, including framing carpentry tasks when needed, to prepare spaces for electrical work.

Requirements

• Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn is essential!
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety protocols.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and interpret technical diagrams accurately.
