Service Electrician (Mid-Level)

Blue Streak Lighting & Electric is hiring a mid-level Service Electrician with 2–4 years of verifiable field experience. This role is for electricians who can work independently on service calls, troubleshoot circuits up to 480v, and perform lighting retrofits for multi-family and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include

• Perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs (120–480v).
• Replace, retrofit, and customize lighting fixtures.
• Calibrate and install lighting controls.
• Review and complete work orders using our online system; communicate with clients by email.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, Title 24, and local codes.
• Survey projects for quotations and provide clear recommendations.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver’s License with clean record.
• CA DMV Driver Record required before in-person interview (Request Online).
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30ft.
• 2–4 years of verifiable experience as a Service Electrician.
• ET card or California electrician license.
