Journeyman Electrician - Residential

Johal Solutions is a growing San Jose-based contracting company specializing in residential and light commercial electrical work, security camera systems, and low voltage/network installations. We’re a small, tight-knit operation that takes pride in doing clean, professional work and treating every client right. We’re looking for a skilled technician who wants to be part of something being built from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Residential and light commercial electrical installations and service calls
• Security camera system installation and configuration (IP, analog, NVR/DVR)
• Low voltage work including network cabling, access control, and structured wiring, wire pulling
• Panel troubleshooting and installation, whole home re-wiring, outlet/switch installation, recessed light installation, EV charger installation
• Working independently on job sites with minimal supervision
• Communicating professionally with clients on site

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of hands-on electrical field experience
• Journeyman-level electrical knowledge
• Experience with low voltage and camera systems is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in attics and crawlspace (this is a requirement)
• Reliable transportation (Jobs are located all over SF Bay Area with a focus on South Bay Area)
• Must be willing to drive up to 1 hour to jobsite(s)
• Ability to work independently and manage your time on site
• Strong attention to detail

The ideal candidate has thorough experience specializing in home electrical installation and repair and must require knowledge not limited to panel install/upgrade/repair, lighting installation, EV chargers installation and more. You will be serving as one of our lead electricians so these skills are non-negotiable.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
