Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.
• Operate safely on construction sites by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage systems.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations for high voltage and low voltage applications.
