Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and upgrade residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical work.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installation and repair tasks.
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations for safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and construction teams to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for each project.

Experience

• Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in home environments.
• Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, high voltage installations, renovation projects, and construction sites.
• Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Some knowledge of NEC standards, electrical code compliance.
