[Job Description]

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in residential & light commercial, low voltage experience is a plus! The ideal candidate has experience running a van as well as training apprentices, troubleshooting, completing rough-ins/trim outs of kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole houses, service upgrades, & generator installs. Extensive knowledge of the NEC and/or the ability to adapt to county specific requests are imperative. Simply put, we are looking for a vetted electrician with experience in all aspects of residential electrical construction.

[Required Skills & Abilities]

• Be able to work both independently and within a team.
• Be able to train new apprentices at any experience level.
• Be able to complete projects in a timely & code sufficient manner.
• Be consistently reliable & available to work a normal Monday - Friday work schedule of 6:30am to 2:30pm.
• Be available to work overtime as needed.
• Be able to document and submit daily reports within the Jobber mobile app, this includes job progress reports, pictures, quote requests,ect.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, management and other employees.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use a plethora of meters and testing devices.
• Ability to use hand tools as well as power tools.
• Excellent knowledge of the NEC.
• Positive, friendly, and helpful demeanor.

[Physical Requirements]

• Must be able to see color or discern color coded wiring.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in atmospheric conditions such as extreme cold, heat, humidity, and other various weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, balance and possess adequate use of their fingers/hands.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and scaling scaffolding.
• Employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels.

[Required Education, Experience, And Licensing]

• Valid journeyman or master electrical license issued by the state of Maryland.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential/light commercial electrical work and/or troubleshooting.
• Valid drivers license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• MUST work well with others & be able to work side by side with other employees to complete projects
