Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems .
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for safety and compliance.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations with precision.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to protect yourself and team members during all phases of work.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades like frame carpentry or handyman services to coordinate project timelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and safety checks conducted.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience and capabilities.
