Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code), and safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems including high-voltage and low-voltage circuits in commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults or issues within complex systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance standards and electrical safety procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment effectively on various job sites, including renovation and new construction projects.
• Read and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repairs.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components in industrial settings to support operational efficiency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, troubleshooting logs, and compliance records.
