Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks and low-voltage systems installation for various applications.
• Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostics techniques and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with project teams during construction or renovation projects, including frame carpentry and general handyman tasks as needed.
• Adhere strictly to NFPA 70 compliance requirements while working on complex electrical systems involving high voltage or low voltage configurations.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
