Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and quality assurance.
• Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring installations on construction sites or during renovation projects.
• Follow electrical safety procedures diligently to protect yourself, team members, and clients at all times.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and homeowners to deliver seamless electrical solutions tailored to each project’s needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in homes.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
