Part Time Manufacturing Electrician

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately perform electrical installations and repairs.
• Maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safety and compliance.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system upgrades.
• Conduct routine inspections on industrial electrical components, including motors, switches, panels, and wiring to prevent downtime.
• Assist with renovation projects on existing facilities or new construction sites by framing carpentry or general handyman tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction site experience, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to NEC guidelines for electrical work.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installations.
