Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70 standards. As a key contributor, you will work on complex electrical systems, interpret blueprints and schematics, and utilize your extensive electrical experience to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical circuits and systems.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 compliance standards and electrical safety procedures.
• Install low voltage systems including control wiring for automation or security systems while adhering to local electrical codes.
• Work on construction sites or renovation projects involving high-voltage wiring, schematics reading, framing carpentry, or handyman tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
