Lead Electrician/Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Electrician/Foreman to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. This dynamic role involves leading a team of electricians, managing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality electrical installations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and technical tools. Your expertise will drive project success, maintain safety standards, and uphold the highest quality in all electrical work.

Duties

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
• Manage project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Construction management software to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Conduct quality control inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement of materials, and tracking of labor hours using HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct site safety meetings, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including OSHA standards.

Experience

• Proven management experience supervising electrical teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction management practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Primavera for project scheduling.
