Duties

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues swiftly.
• Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations for safety and compliance.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently to complete installations and repairs.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and handyman personnel to coordinate electrical aspects of projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections conducted, and safety procedures followed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics reading is highly desirable.
