Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled, motivated and hardworking Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both commercial and residential electrical work. This role requires expertise in various electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications, as well as proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
• Conduct renovations involving electrical work while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely completion of projects
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks
• Maintain compliance with NEC regulations during all electrical work

Experience

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, particularly NEC standards
• Experience in construction site environments, demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for electrical work
