VBtronics is a security and low-voltage company serving businesses, municipalities, and institutions across the Chicago area. We install camera systems, access control, alarm systems, intercoms, and structured cabling.

We are looking for someone who knows how to work with their hands. If you can pull cable, terminate connections, and get the job done right — we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Pull and run cable through walls, ceilings, and conduit
• Terminate and test Cat6, coax, alarm wire, and other low-voltage cable
• Mount and connect cameras, NVRs, access control panels, and card readers
• Mount and connect intercoms, video doorbells, and gate entry systems
• Work on commercial and municipal job sites across the Chicago area
• Read basic wiring diagrams and follow job site instructions
• Keep your work area clean and safe
• Fill out simple daily job reports

Skills

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on electrical or low-voltage installation experience
• Someone who knows how to pull and terminate cable — this is the most important skill
• Experience with cameras, access control, or alarm systems is a plus
• Comfortable working on ladders and in ceilings
• Valid driver's license
• PERC Card or ability to obtain one

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
