Electrician - New Construction

Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as an Electrician specializing in Residential New Construction projects! In this role, you will be responsible for installing electrical systems on new building sites. Your expertise will help bring custom homes to life ensuring all electrical work meets code and quality standards and project specifications. This position will provide the opportunity to work with a 2-3 person team primarily in new construction homes serving in a "journeyman" capacity leading apprentices. The successful candidate will be expected to be a self starter with sufficient knowledge to guide apprentices through the entirety of electrical construction products in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install wiring and systems.
• Install electrical components including conduit, wiring, panels, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing devices to ensure systems operate correctly.
• Work with low voltage systems such as garage and door bell wiring.
• Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong background in new construction projects. * Demonstrated ability to lead apprentices in home wiring projects * Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding electrical codes. * Proficient with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment used in electrical installations. * Experience working on construction sites with basic knowledge of framing carpentry and renovation processes. *...
