Electrician – Full-time

Electrician Responsibilities and Duties

Commercial ground up electrical buildouts, and installation, retrofit, and troubleshooting of commercial indoor and outdoor lighting systems * Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting and other electrical systems * Install distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breakers, panels etc.) * Proficiently install electrical circuits and network cables, and ensure compatibility of components * Install and support conduits, pull wire, terminate equipment and devices * Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and the cause, replace damaged parts * Supervise or lead a crew when necessary

Electrician Qualifications and Skills

* Proven journeymen level experience as an electrician * Experience in commercial electrical systems and lighting * Demonstrate ability to use electrical meters and hand and read electrical drawings and blueprints * Thorough knowledge of lock out-tag out safety procedures, regulations, and NEC codes * Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability - troubleshooting * Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work full shifts * Valid driver’s license with a good record * Ability to work on ladders, aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and lift 50 lbs. * Journeyman or Master license preferred
