BAS Installer/Electrician

Overview

The BAS Installer/Electrician (low voltage) will assist with installing conduit, pulling wire, mounting devices, to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Responsible to support a Building Automation System (BAS) installation including, mounting of control components, conduit and wiring, and terminations. Low Voltage Electrician / Apprentice Electrician / BAS Electricians required for a hands-on building automation systems role supporting BAS installation projects around Latham. This position would suit someone with 1–3 years of low-voltage electrical, conduit, wiring or controls installation experience who is looking to build further technical experience on commercial job sitesEnsure that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Locate, mount and terminate BAS end devices such as temperature sensors, relays and electronic actuators

Effectively able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisor and crew members Work independently and as a team member Works with other trades to coordinate work on the job site

Qualifications

• Previous journeyman-level experience in electrical work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
