Responsibilities

• Assist in installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to aid in accurate installation and troubleshooting
• Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Conduct routine inspections on electrical components, identify issues, and support repairs under supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites, including framing carpentry tasks when needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including working with construction site safety procedures and understanding electrical hazards

Qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters
• Experience or coursework related to blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
