Duties

• Install, inspect, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical layouts accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers to complete wiring tasks efficiently.
• Perform wiring for lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components in new construction or renovation projects.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues on-site by applying industrial electrician experience and knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, handymen, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven residential electrical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, or commercial electrical work is a plus.
