As an Industrial Journeyman Electrician, you'll lead electrical work on industrial job sites: managing installations, directing crew members, upholding code and safety standards, and representing the Serve Electric standard on every project. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Directing and managing electrical work on industrial job sites Inspecting installations to ensure quality and code compliance Upholding and enforcing job site safety standards Troubleshooting complex electrical issues from start to finish, often without schematics or full operator information Reading and interpreting blueprints, rough sketches, plans, drawings, and specifications Wiring 120V, 480V, and low voltage systems Working with lighting, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards Measuring, threading, bending, and running EMT and rigid conduit (½" – 4") Sizing feeders and understanding tooling requirements for each job Mentoring and training apprentices and newer electricians Communicating clearly with customers, the service manager, and the team Organizing and planning projects of varyi...
