Manufacturing Electrician (3rd shift)

The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including PLCs, control systems, motors, VFDs, and other complex electromechanical equipment. This role requires performing preventive and emergency maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in the facility.

Responsibilities

Hours: 3rd Shift 10PM-6:30 AM

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications

Troubleshoot, install or repair electrical wiring, conduit, feeders, breakers and other electrical

components using appropriate electrical test equipment

Perform electrical maintenance and emergency repairs, implement modifications, and carry

out the facility’s preventive maintenance program during the assigned shift

Install and repair electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment

Plan layouts for new electrical wiring installations when required

Conduct regular inspections of all electrical equipment, including switchgear and motors, as

part of the preventive maintenance program

Maintain electro-pneumatic control systems by adjusting, calibrating, and repairing them

Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring in compliance with the

national electrical code and company standards

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs
