Job Overview

Krengel Manufacturing designs, builds, and die casts a wide variety of parts for the utility, automotive and transportation industries. With over 50 years of experience, Krengel is a female-owned, privately held business headquartered in Eastlake, OH.

Duties

Electrical knowledge

• Skilled with Multimeter and accessories for electrical systems diagnostics.
• Experience and training working with 480V, 240V 3 phase power machines, switches, breakers, and fuses.
• Experienced with 24V DC sensors and wiring requirements for control systems
• Capable of creating and repairing electrical systems, machines, lighting.

Controls and PLC knowledge

• Understand PLC coding
• Ability to diagnose PLC issues for both simple and moderately complex systems.
• Capable of using RSLogix 500 / 5000 software
• Experience creating PLC systems

Additional

• Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects
• Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them
• Able to clearly document work performed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and orderly work area

Qualifications

• 3 or more years experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to climb ladders, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (not constantly)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
