Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations safely on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently while adhering to safety procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards for electrical safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance audits and future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments.
