Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute project plans.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine solutions swiftly.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for safety and legality.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures and protocols.
• Use power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment effectively on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and safety checks conducted throughout each project phase.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a electrician with a strong background in industrial electrician practices preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and schematics reading for automation systems.
