Duties

• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures by implementing lockout/tagout protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work on construction sites performing renovation and new build projects, including framing carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently to complete tasks accurately and safely.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues within systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
