Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system installations.
• Perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults in complex systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
• Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while following electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure resistance and verify circuit integrity during installation or repair processes.
• Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or maintenance environments, demonstrating construction experience and a handyman approach when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations throughout all phases of work.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for the installation of complex electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures related to electrical work and working with high-voltage systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and local codes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and high-voltage electrical installations.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes to ensure compliance at all times.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for precise installations or repairs.
• Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures.
• Construction site experience preferred; familiarity with renovation projects is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent hand tool proficiency and attention to detail.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local jurisdiction; additional certifications in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or industrial electrician experience are advantageous.
