Machinist / Electrician

Growing local manufacturing company is seeking a tool room machinist to primarily make and/or repair Bending Pins, Clusters, Cut-off Blocks and simple details / press die components. Candidate should have comprehensive machining ability with minimum of 5 years experience that includes the following:

• Setup / Program and operate CNC milling machine (HAAS VF2) Also... surface grinder, lathe, drill press, radial drill, horizontal band saw, and a vertical band saw.
• Be able to make parts / details from blue prints (Pins, Bushings, Basic Blocks and Sections etc.)
• Basic Electrician experience working with 3 phase 480v Equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance based on particular needs of a given die or machine.
• Make tool adjustments to achieve quality first piece.
• Be able to shim and sharpen die steels and punches.
• Must have basic welding and fabrication abilities
• Must be able to read all measuring tools (Micrometers, calipers, Dial Indicators, Scales and Height Gauges.)
• Must be able to use Auxiliary Equipment (Grind All, V Blocks and Angle Blocks.)
• The skills to read blue prints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
