Low Voltage Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, fiber optic cabling, VoIP telephony, Ethernet networks, and other related items
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs
• Perform fiber splicing and cable management using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal connectivity and performance
• Conduct network installation tasks involving Cat6 and Cat6A cabling, Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, and LAN configurations
• Provide field service support by responding promptly to service calls, performing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including logs, repairs, and system configurations
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes while delivering excellent customer service

Experience

• Ability to use hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, drills along with power tools for installation tasks
