Position Summary

This position will primarily focus on the installation, service, troubleshooting, and customer training of commercial (and some residential) IP-based video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a professional customer service attitude.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing IP-based CCTV/video surveillance systems (Required)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
• Strong mechanical aptitude and low voltage installation experience
• Ability to troubleshoot network-connected devices and systems
• Ability to train customers on the operation of installed video systems
• Professional appearance and strong customer communication skills
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully pass a background check

Experience with the Following Systems is a Major Plus

• Avigilon
• Honeywell MAXPRO
• ExacqVision
• Eagle Eye Networks
• Salient Systems
• AXIS Communications

*(Experience with these manufacturers is preferred but not required.)*

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain commercial IP-based CCTV and video surveillance systems
• Configure cameras, NVRs, servers, switches, and related network equipment
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Provide customer training and system demonstrations
• Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
