Position Summary

The Master Electrician is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, code-compliant, and efficient operation. This position provides technical leadership, oversight, and guidance to electricians, apprentices, and project teams while ensuring all work complies with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes, project specifications, and company standards.

Scope of Responsibilities

The position involves overseeing electrical installations, power distribution systems, low-voltage systems, fiber optic infrastructure, underground utilities, communication systems, ISP work, manhole operations, and commercial construction projects. The Master Electrician is responsible for maintaining jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance while managing crews and supporting project execution from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Plan, layout, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
