Lead Low Voltage Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage systems including security alarms, video surveillance, and access control systems.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and works with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining quality workmanship. This position requires someone who can lead by example, stay productive throughout the workday, communicate professionally with customers and team members, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Essential Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, and repair low voltage systems including:
• Security alarm systems
• Video surveillance systems
• Access control systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts
• Run, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
• Mount and install system devices, panels, cameras, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot system issues in the field and implement effective solutions
• Coordinate with builders, contractors, and customers to determine system requirements and project expectations
• Maintain organized job sites, vehicles, tools, and inventory
• Ensure all required materials and equipment are available before and during installations
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and project paperwork accurately and on time
• Lead and support other technicians when assigned
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer experience at all times
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in low voltage systems, with security systems experience required
