Electrical Apprentice

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on commercial job sites, learning the skills necessary to advance in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with experienced electricians to learn about low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements.
• Participate in construction site activities, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
• Experience working on construction sites is beneficial.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills within the electrical trade.
